The Algarve coast in Portugal is one of the most beautiful coastal areas in the country. With more than 200 km of cliffs and beaches, the Algarve area is characterised by two distinct parts: the western part where we can find very long beaches surrounded by unspoilt cliffs and the east coast where the beaches are smaller and with less cliffs.

However, it is still a spectacular part to visit where we can find isolated rock formations of great beauty, such as the Ponta da Piedade.
