EL CASTAÑAR DE EL TIEMBLO: AN AUTUMN WONDERLAND IN AVILA, SPAIN

As the summer heat ebbs away and makes way for a refreshing autumn breeze, nature adorns itself in a magnificent array of colors, transforming landscapes into true masterpieces. One such enchanting location is El Castañar de El Tiemblo, a majestic forest nestled in the heart of the Sierra de Gredos mountain range in Spain. Adorned with countless chestnut trees, this hidden gem miraculously transforms into a breathtaking wonderland during the fall season.

Autumn is one of my favorite seasons of the year, the orange tones bathe the forests around the world to leave us warm and cozy prints. This year I was a little late to capture Autumn but I didn't give up. As soon as we returned from our trip to Nepal we headed to El Castañar de El Tiemblo to try to get some of the most beautiful autumn images of Avila and this is what we found:

The forest floor becomes adorned with these edible treasures along with the leafs, inviting all who wander through the woods to enjoy their spoils. It is completely forbidden to collect the fruits but that doesn’t mean that you can’t try to find them in the trees or on the floor and enjoy its beauty.
